When one needs to recover lost emails the requirements for data recovery can be quite rigid. Most email recovery can be divided into two areas. These are web based mail and client based. Web based mail such as Yahoo or AOL mail can be recovered in two different ways. If the message was recently received most web-based email has it stored in a special file. Simply look at the file marked recently deleted mail and restore the message. If the message was opened on your PC then the information is stashed in your temporary Internet files folder on your hard drive.

You will need a basic data recovery tool to open that folder and retrieve your mail. The most popular client based email systems are Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express. These use special files bearing unique extensions developed by Microsoft. These are .PST and .DBX respectively. If you use either of these email systems and have lost any email you can restore that email easily using REMO PST repair or REMO Outlook Express recovery.
